Gemma de Chamarel

Jewellery Designer

Based in London, with an international clientele, Gemma de Chamarel is a sought after jewellery designer. Captivated by the sparkles inside her grandmother’s jewellery box from an early age, she has turned her passion for precious gems into a successful career.

Gemma gained her BSc (Hons) degree in Molecular and Microbiology at Imperial College, London and worked internationally for a number of global luxury brands before returning to her love of precious stones. Gemma has studied precious stone grading and identification at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), the world’s foremost authority on diamonds, gemstones and pearls, since 2009 in London, Bangkok and Singapore.

Gemma is a GIA certified Applied Jewellery Professional and a member of The National Association Of Jewellers in the UK. 

Working closely with her clients to develop and translate their design ideas, Gemma creates beautiful and bespoke jewellery for those special occasions. Travelling extensively in South East Asia, she personally selects the gemstones for their beauty and elegance and their suitability for each individual design.
